)F FUNCTION -

  The GUPI command invokes GUPI-TSO, an assembly language program
which performs updates on line-numbered source files using a control
file syntax similar to that of IBM's UPDATE program for CMS.  The
main difference is that GUPI performs multiple updates in a single
invocation by reading all the updates from a single, sequential, input
control file.

                   STOR/NOSTOR  SEQ8/NOSEQ8
   Required - 'source-dsn', 'update-dsn', 'output-dsn'
   Defaults - STOR, SEQ8

)O OPERANDS -
))SOURCE-DSN - fully or partially qualified DSN of base file.
))UPDATE-DSN - fully or partially qualified DSN of update control file.
))OUTPUT-DSN - fully or partially qualified DSN of output file.
))STOR - specifies that the update is to be performed in memory.
))NOSTOR - specifies that the update is to performed disk-to-disk.
))SEQ8 - specifies that the sequence numbers occupy columns 73-80.
))NOSEQ8 - specifies that the sequence numbers occupy columns 76-80.
))MARK - gives the 3-byte string to fill columns 73-75 if NOSEQ8.
