May 2012 in Moscow: Revolt? Civil Disobedience? Student Fun?

Please join the Harriman Institute for a talk by Tamara Eidelman, a historian and one of Moscow's public intellectuals. She teaches history at one of Moscow's top high schools and is a member of the Moscow and European Associations of History Teachers. Her 2012 public lecture "History of Civil Disobedience from Socrates to Martin Luther King, Jr.," presented last year at the "Ocupay Abay" camp, was a highlight of the Moscow "May Days 2012." This lecture will be the final event in the series Political Protests in Russia in 2012. This event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
