CRCA Sub-Team Race Calendar
The following races are designated as sub-team races. Points scored
during these races by sub-teams count towards the CRCA Sub-Team
Championship.

Scoring System for Sub-Team Races
Mark Maljanian, Vice-President of Racing, has created the '97 race
format schedule. The different formats are meant to improve racing skills
and tactics. Certain races are designated for the team point series. In
addition to the traditional "scratch" races and two Time Trials members are
very familiar with, there will also be three Tempo and three Points races.
The race formats will be reflected in the club "Race Dates" schedule.
Points Races: Every lap points will be awarded in every field,
with double points on some laps. See accompanying table.
Tempo Races: Identical to Points races, except double points are not
awarded. This intends to favor more aggressive early riding.
