Alp Muharremoglu is a faculty member at the Decision, Risk and Operations Division at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He joined the Columbia faculty in 2002, after receiving his Ph.D. from M.I.T. His main research focus is decision making under uncertainty, with a particular focus on supply chain management. He also has worked on retail pricing and air traffic management. He teaches the core MBA course Decision Models as well as an elective MBA course on modeling and Ph.D. courses on Supply Chain and Inventory Models and on Dynamic Optimization.
