Alp Muharremoglu is an Assistant Professor of Decision, Risk and Operations at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He joined the Columbia faculty in 2002, after receiving his Ph.D. from M.I.T. His main research focus is decision making under uncertainty, with a particular focus on supply chain management. He also has worked on retail pricing and on air traffic management. He teaches the core MBA course Decision Models and Ph.D. courses on Supply Chain and Inventory Models and on Dynamic Optimization.
