1) In the last section of “Two Faces of Globalization,” Branco Milanovic suggests two narratives of modern globalization. Appraise the strengths and weaknesses of each narrative, in the context of other readings that may support or undermine these narratives.

2) Write a narrative of globalization since 1820. Hint: Think in terms of broad processes and periodizations.
