the content of this site has been marked up semantically in XHTML and uses CSS exclusively for all presentation effects. this allows the page to look nice in modern browsers like mozilla and IE while being accessible to and degrading gracefully in pretty much every browser ever made. it also ensures that the page will continue to work in future browsers. if that weren't enough, coding to the standards decreases development time significantly by allowing me to use a validator to speed up debugging.

all coding was done in emacs running on Gentoo linux. images were manipulated using the GIMP.
