I am a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in the Bioelectronic Systems Lab at Columbia University. Prior to joining Columbia University, I completed by PhD at Georgia Tech. Iā€™m from Jodhpur city in the state of Rajasthan, India. Although I am an electrical engineer by training, I have always been interested in studying natural physical phenomena, and the workings of brain. I am really fascinated by the idea that computing and thinking can arise just using physical laws of nature. My PhD work has focussed on building continuous time dynamical systems using circuits which have the capability to compute. At Columbia, my focus is understanding the kinds of computation needed within circuits, and their design, in high density multi-electrode arrays (MEAs) for neural interfaces. As I recently joined Columbia, this website mostly summarizes my PhD work.
