I am a DSI postdoctoral fellow at Columbia University in New York working with Dave Blei's group to develop interpretable and predictive models of voter turnout in US elections. I generally do research on Bayesian statistical models for networks, time series, and text data that arise from complex social processes. Much of my work focuses on methods for decomposing high-dimensional count tensors.

I recently completed my Ph.D. from the College of Information and Computer Sciences at UMass Amherst under the guidance of Hanna Wallach in the Machine Learning for Data Science (MLDS) lab.

Prior to that, I earned an M.A. in Linguistics from UMass Amherst and a dual B.A. in Linguistics and Political Science also from UMass Amherst. (I'm a big fan of Massachusetts.)

A version of my CV is available here.
