I have been a doctoral student at the Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) department at Columbia University since September 2010 and I expect to graduate in May 2015.

I am currently working with Professor Jose Blanchet and my research interests are in advanced Monte Carlo methods for efficient rare-event simulations.
