Národní Muzeum - The National Museum

Národní Muzeum (The National Museum) stands as a monumental anchor at one end of Václavské náměstí. The grand staircase in the central lobby was used in the movie "Mission Impossible" to represent the American Embassy in Prague. The National Museum is home to many bronze busts of famous Czech citizens, as well as impressive collections of gems, minerals, metorites, and fossils found in the Bohemian mountains and forests.
