Petřín Park

Petřín Park is perched on top of Petřín hill, to the west of New Town. The hill can be climbed by foot, by car, or by funicular which is a steeply inclined railway similar to a cable car. Several paths criss-cross the hillside and are used by visitors and local residents to enjoy the scenery. Visitors enjoy climbing to the top of Rozhledna, The Lookout Tower, which is a one-fifth scale copy of the Eiffel Tower that was built in 1891. The Lookout Tower is open the the public from Monday through Friday.
