Václavské náměstí (Wenceslas Square) is more of a boulevard than a town square. Stretching almost half a mile from the Müstek Metro station to Národní Muzeum (The National Museum), Václavské náměstí is large enough to hold half the population of Prague. It has been the site of many important demonstrations and political events.
