I am currently a post-doctoral researcher at Columbia University in the IEOR department (co-hosted by Alex Andoni and Ton Dieker). Prior to this, I was a post-doctoral researcher at MSRI in the Geometric Functional Analysis & Applications program. I recently finished my PhD in the Algorithms, Combinatorics, and Optimization (ACO) program at Georgia Tech, advised by Santosh Vempala . I attended Clemson University for my undergraduate degree, receiving BS degrees in Mathematical Sciences and Computer Science. My CV is available here.
Volume Computation and Sampling
- Computing Volume of a Convex Body. A MATLAB implementation for estimating the volume of and sampling from arbitrary convex bodies. Experimental results show it can obtain a reasonable estimate for the volume of a 100-dimensional polytope within a few minutes.
I used to be the coach for Georgia Tech's ACM Programming Team.
