Our research focuses on the development and validation of anatomical and functional imaging biomarkers (e.g., volumetric CT, necrosis fraction, PET-derived response parameters) to better assess and predict disease response to therapies in oncology, cardiovascular/vascular and neurologic applications; the pursuit of novel image analysis methods to improve early detection and non-invasive diagnosis/classification of diseases (e.g., emphysema, lung cancer); and the development and evaluation of organ and lesion segmentation/delineation algorithms on CT, MRI, and PET-CT for diverse clinical applications including (but not limited to) therapy response assessment, radiation treatment planning and liver transplantation.
