Final Thoughts

Our group found this project to be a valuable experience. Each of us had the chance to learn about different aspects of the financing landscape for innovative biotechnology companies, with a specific focus on the shift from large pharmaceutical firms to life sciences-focused funds, in terms of where investment in biotech companies across the spectrum of clinical trial progression comes from. We also honed our skills in corporate strategy.

Overall, we were encouraged by the weekly feedback we received from our professors, and we grew from the mentorship we received from our project sponsor. This is an extremely exciting time to help Blackstone. We feel very fortunate to have been part of solving this extremely relevant problem and are very thankful for the BXLS team who were so helpful in our development of recommendations.
