Dave's True Story -- This duo of vocalist Kelly Flint and guitarist David Cantor combines the joyous innocence of the '40s with a deadpan contemporary irony that perfectly captures the '90s. Vin Scelsa has called their music "wonderful stuff...reminiscent of Cole Porter."

Hugh Pool -- Catch these traditional and original blues from a Postcrypt favorite. He's got some of the hottest guitar sounds around, and then some! Hugh has a CD, Spirits Treat Me Gently.
The Nudes -- Get ready! This local duo is going to rev things up with their unique electric upbeat style. Come early if you want a seat.

Open Stage -- Folk, blues, bluegrass, jazz, reggae you name it! We also welcome poets, storytellers, actors, comics, and performers of all kinds. Performances start at 9:00; sign-up begins promptly at 8:45. Eight to ten minute limit.

Pamela Means -- Pamela hails from Boston, and she has opened shows for the likes of Neil Young, Ani DiFranco, and the Violent Femmes.
Bill Cuddyer -- Also bsed in Boston, Bill has shared bills with folks like Bill Morrissey and Ellis Paul. The Boston Phoenix refers to him as "David Byrne meets Edgar Allen Poe."
Harrod and Funck -- This duo's CD, "Dreams of the Color Blind," was the last project by late producer Mark Heard. Dirty Linen describes their album as "a warm inviting blanket of vocal harmony that lulls you into their intricate lyrics."

John Sontag -- Don't miss John's sweet, gentle voice and moving original songs!
Greg Greenway -- This Boston-based singer/songwriter recently appeared on Christine Lavin's "Big Times in a Small Town" compilation, and he was also a part of last fall's Shelter benefit concert at Carnegie Hall. The Boston Globe has described Greg's music as "...nothing short of revelatory."

The Marys -- Direct from the Hoboken Pop Scene, the Marys play songs with the spare, traditional "folk music" approach of vocal harmonies and acoustic guitar seasoned with Pop structure and sensibility.
Chris Bauman -- Christian's songs have been covered by Postcrypt favorites Eddy Lawrence, Jack Hardy, and Wendy Beckerman, and he has appeared on several Fast Folk albums. He has a CD, Out Here in the Perimeter, which will be available at the show.
Minus Ted -- Brian O'Neill and friends grace the night with their engaging lyrics and guitar-driven sound.

Dorothy Scott -- It's a rare treat to have Dorothy down at the Postcrypt, since lately she's been touring extensively in Europe. When she's in the country, she can often be seen performing at clubs such as Sin-e and Fez. She released a new CD, Into the Natural, last spring.
Petronella -- What do computers and group sex have to do with this feminist folk duo? You'll have to stop by if you want to find out...

Jay Mankita -- Jay Mankita Jay sings songs about love and loss, peace, justice, personal politics, and other time-honored themes. Hes also a favorite at the annual Falcon Ridge Folk Festival in upstate New York.
Gene & Mimi -- With their "Greenwich Village cutting edge avant folk, Gene & Mimi are well-known to New York folk crowd. Recently, they've been playing at the Knitting Factory. Come check out this funky duo.
Tanya Savory -- Tanya was a finalist in the '91, '93, and '94 Kerrville Folk Festivals. With her storytelling style of writing, filled with unique and vivid imagery, Tanya's music has been described as "the country side of folk" and "the folk side of pop with a touch of bluegrass."
