I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Data Science Institute of Columbia University in the city of New York. I am primarily working with Prof. Daniel Hsu and Prof. Shipra Agrawal.

Before joining Columbia, I completed my PhD in Computer Science from Harvard University where I was advised by the inimitable Prof. David C. Parkes. I received my ME in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Science. In the past, I also interned at Microsoft Research, Redmond.

Research Interests

I work on problems in AI and statistical machine learning, with an emphasis on theory and modeling, and with applications focused on high-stakes, societal problems. I am particularly interested in how AI/ML systems can be integrated in society where where the decisions directly impact people's lives.

In terms of specific fields, I am interested in Online Learning, Game Theory, Crowdsourcing, Voting, Causal Inference, and Algorithmic Fairness.
