The Interchurch Center, Room 320
Before joining Columbia, I completed my PhD in Computer Science from Harvard University where I was advised by the inimitable David C. Parkes. I received my ME in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Science. In the past, I also interned at Microsoft Research, Redmond.
Research InterestsI am broadly interested in problems at the intersection of economics and computer science. Specifically, I am interested in how AI/ML systems can be integrated in society where where the decisions directly impact people's lives. In terms of specific fields, I am interested in social choice theory, game theory, online learning, causal inference, and algorithmic fairness.
