I am broadly interested in problems at the intersection of economics and computer science. Specifically, I am interested in how AI/ML systems can be integrated in society where where the decisions directly impact people's lives. In terms of specific fields, I am interested in social choice theory, game theory, online learning, and algorithmic fairness. Currently, I am working on the following research projects.
What is the optimal way to design large-scale voting platform that aggregates people's opinions?
How do we ensure that an online algorithm, that interacts repeatedly with people, treats different subgroups fairly?
The Effectiveness of Peer Prediction in Long-Term Forecasting
