The interviewer interface is purposefully spare so as not to be confusing to the interviewer.

Diagnostic Report

A diagnostic report is automatically generated and appears on the screen at the conclusion of the interview.

A substance-induced specifier is provided for those diagnostic categories whose symptoms can mimic intoxication and withdrawal symptoms, resulting in difficulty determining whether a disorder is primary or substance-induced. Special probes are provided in the following sections to assist with this differentiation.

The PRISM-CV-IV interview was programmed using Blaise®, a powerful interviewing system for Windows®. The interview is set up to run with no additional software but an annual Blaise® license is required to run the PRISM-CV on your computer and for each additional data collection workstation. SAS® programs to export PRISM-CV-IV data
Programs are included to export interview data to a SAS® data set. From SAS®, the data can be exported to any statistical program of your choice.
