Lisa Kotler, MD
Research Psychiatrist

Dr. Lisa Kotler is an Assistant Attending Psychiatrist in the Department of Child Psychiatry at NYSPI and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. Dr. Kotler graduated from Princeton University, and received her M.D. from Yale University School of Medicine. She completed her psychiatry training at Mount Sinai Medical Center and went on to do a clinical fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at NYSPI/Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. She has recently received a Young Investigator Award from the National Alliance for Research in Schizophrenia and Depression (NARSAD) and is currently studying the treatment of adolescents with bulimia nervosa. She also has an interest in the treatment of children and adolescents with obesity. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association Committee on Women and a member of the Academy for Eating Disorders.
