The overproduction of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has had serious environmental effects, as the increase in worldwide carbon emissions has enhanced the greenhouse effect and has become one of the main causes of global warming. Our project looks at Biochar, a new and relatively unknown form of carbon sequestration. We have set out to analyze the process of this method and it's effects on carbon emissions in an attempt to determine if this is a viable option in contributing to the solution of reducing the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
