Photo: USARMYGERMANY.com. This is not Kapaun Barracks, but rather 2nd Batallion (Squadron) of the 3rd Armored Cavalry at Warner Barracks in Bamberg in 1955. I inlcude this picture because it shows the khaki summer uniforms and the barracks are German, dating from WWII or earlier. This is probably a platoon falling out for the regular Saturday morning parade before getting dismissed for the weekend. The khakis and soft hats are the Post-WWII Class B summer uniform.
