Me and Harry Hill in front on the Hill farm on Kirby road in 1955 (which is about when the road was paved) or 1956 (the year we moved to Arlington). The cinder-block GI Bill houses would be to the left, and more farms to the right. The farm dates from about 1900. The field to the right of the driveway is fallow but sometimes it was planted with rye. The tree at far left is a walnut. At the far end of the 40-acre property is forest, and another forest is behind the photographer.
