Near the Hauptbahnhof, right next to Maier Gustl's was Santa Lucia at 49 Münchenerstraße, one flight up. White tablecloths, candles, polite formally-dressed waiters, delicious Italian food, and drinks served in glasses with stems, all in a papier-maché grotto-styled room, and with rock-bottom prices (see menu and note that one Mark was equivalent to 25 cents); in all, a perfect setting for romantic dates on a cheapskate budget.
