The Walkers' back yard, as seen from ours, looking east. I think that's Mary Walker leaning over the trunk of the car, which might be a 1952 Chevrolet. Kirby Road would be towards the left. The horsey wood fence belongs to the Chittenden estate. On the right the Walkers' barbecue pit, that Nolan made, site of many neighborhood weenie roasts, at one of which a shotgun shell exploded in the fire and embedded some pellets in my butt! Luckily my grandmother, a nurse, was there and dug them out. To the far right, the Nolan Walker's General Maintenance Service Company office. Behind that (not visible in this picture) were some other buildings, including a house for Jimmie's horse Peanuts.
