THE DUAL DEGREE MANIFESTO

I am an engineer living at the crux of Computer Science and Economics. Programming is exhilarating, but it is also powerful. It is a power that can amplify any realm it glances and make it electric and alive. I aim to apply this electricity to public economics. As the economy ebbs and flows from its origin, unfurling itself linearly, it reflects the social norms and cultural shifts that become inherent to it.

I have worked at various organizations that aim to solve economic inefficiencies in various spaces through Computer Science. Girls Who Code aims to close gender, racial, and income gaps in technology spaces by designing programming curricula for high school women; Athena Digital Design Agency does the same for college-aged women; TalenTeck LLC takes a close look at what inefficiencies lead to gender gaps at C-level positions, amongst other inefficiencies in recruiting.

My experiences and education give me the unique perspective to leverage technology for the purposes of social economics. I am excited by learning and passionate about solving problems.
