Hobbs notes that approaches which tell kids their media is bad do
not work. The Freyrean model of concientization emphasizes that the oppressed
must be involved in the development of understanding of their situation
in order to keep from perpetuating patterns of oppression.
There's no real reason a site which simply lectures kids would have any
attraction to them at all. There need to be a lot of ways for visitors
to the site to participate in discussion and contribute creative material
to the site.
