Their are many major challenges that Jamaica faces, but the one that is most urgent is preparing teachers and students to use advanced technology such as computers and multimedia as part of their educational resources in classrooms. Our history has shown that we have come a long way and managed to overcome many obstacles and our biggest obstacle of them all was slavery.  ‘We’ have endured so much and yet we still stand tall and proud.  This is not the time to quit and nor will we quit.  Integration of computers and other technology into the curriculum is a must for our children and teachers to be more competitive worldwide.
