I enjoy practicing many sports including soccer, cycling, running, and fencing. Before Graduate School, I have been playing fencing professionally. I hold a Gold medal in Egypt's National Championship, Gold and Bronze medals in African Championship, and I am a member of the Egyptian Olympic Team at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. During Graduate school, I became too busy to compete but I have been practicing fencing and refereeing from time to time. See me compete at the Olympic Games below:

Other than sports, I enjoy hanging out with my amazing wife Dina, and my two boys Yahia and Omar. During the summer, you can find us at the park cycling or building castles in the sandbox, and in winter we enjoy building snow mans and sled skiing.
