    Here's a quick overview of what different job titles mean
  • Instructional designer: someone who theory and practice of design and implications for leraning

  • K-12 instructional technology specialist: someone who focuses on technology and the impact of technology on learning within the context of school


WHEN TO LOOK FOR AN INTERNSHIP

You should start looking in January for summer internships, when companies start allocating their new budgets on different departments. However, internships are posted year-around. Summer is a particularly popular time for completing internships and therefore more competitive. Some companies post summer internships as early as fall. So, don’t delay, start looking now!
