FunkyTown Gigolo/discoB madness!, Carbon, November 14, 1997 Anyway, other than the door nonsense, the other night at FunkyTown was the best night out I've had dancing is QUITE some time!! The music was the most consistently good the entire night long of any party since say maybe 4U or even Underground Solution (just cause that was the last FULLON techno party I've been to)for me. I really haven't heard all that much proper techno lately and this quite solved that problem. I was just loving all the tracks and the smooooooooth live PA and only wasn't hardcore enough when I had to sit and so chose the comfy padded seats int he jungle room;) You couldn't wipe the smile off my face, and I was surprised to see some of the other nycers just bobbing and not dancing ;) heheh Additional surprises included being able to convince Misery/Alex to go (wish ya smiled more) and hearing elctro electro electro mixed in so much. It was fun seeing the other DJs dance in the booth all night long too :) This was the Gigolo/DiscoB tour with DJ Hell, Acid Scout, DJ Naughty, Acid Maria, Neil Landstrum, DJ Deitrich and Prozac. Okay that's enough of my foaming at the mouth of praise on the night. In addition I hadn't been to Funky Town before (had only been to the Carbon/Mirage space once before for the Orb show this summer) and I actaully thought it was quite nice. No one seemed to be dancing when first arrived, but that seemed to change soon enough... wow - I'm still in awe - sometime remind me of how depressing life is so I can get over this ;) heheheh RAGE RAGE RAGE (hey Pez and Kira :) ) No need for me to go to World Domination tongiht as I'm quite satiated and where was Garrett? That looser dsp boy ;) ;) ;) He SHOULD'VE been there. .\.\ichael -- sentinel
