Synesthesia Review.  March 2, 1996.  Brooklyn, NY

da Bomb! Eric and Hugh hosted a fabulous party that I would only
have to nickname "Club Eric! Club Hugh!" (for the bestest parts
of clubs that is ;) )

took the subway ride down, and when I got to 255 Eastern Parkway,
who do I run into, but Bobbles! This was neat, as the same thing
happened at Beautiful the night before when we met at the map
point. and guess what, bobbles came with lights galore - two
strobes (me thinks - or do you guys own one?) and a neato swirly
colorful light thing - whats this called?!?!

got upstairs and was greeted by eric (only time that the door
diva Matt, ahh ahh I mean SuperGenius Dr. Otto Trokenheim (isn't
this in Rocky Horror? ;) , was delinquit.)

When Bobbles and I arrived the party had been right off with
MikeGee spinning a mixture of stuff (some disco, some house, some
this some that. %)

And you all know who was there - but I gotta mention people came
from ways away - like the Syracuse crew, Jamming James E (other
Beautiful attendee), Luis (& others from CU) and others. (Someone
was from Germany and someone else was from Russia?!?!)

I got to meet Kitten and her friend, Eddy (Scramble) and his pals
from U. Syracuse, Skinner (wicked set) and others for the first
time. Great hanging out - hope to see you all again soon.

The DJs - again if it's not ambient, I can't label the stuff %) -
played a nice variety of tracks ranging house, techno, trance,
Hugh's Goa (sorry I couldn't dance Hugh but after two nights of
dancing, tis shot!) I did dance in my chair though. :) oh oh and
some 1950s big band to start off Dj Oliver Twisted's set.
Props out to everyone there, da DJs (Superstar DJ Don Yee,
Skinner, Jeremy, MikeGee and Hughie.)

But the music, the lights and the people all came together for a
night much better than at any ole NYC club. Rather we were all at
"Club Eric! and Club Hugh!"
