Irene Lo

I am currently a 4th year Ph.D. student in the Industrial Engineering & Operations Research Department at Columbia University. I work with Jay Sethuraman and Jacob Leshno in the Decision, Risk and Operations Division of Columbia Business School.

My main research areas are in the intersection of operations research, computer science and economics. I currently work in matching market design, with a focus on school choice mechanisms. I am also interested in mechanism design for social good, graph theory, and games on networks. I graduated from Princeton University in 2013 with an A.B. in mathematics.
