Jun Kyung Auh

I just graduated with Ph.D. degree from the Finance and Economics division at Columbia Business School in May 2014. I have joined McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, Washington DC, as an assistant professor of finance. My main research interest is the effect of financial frictions on firms' decisions within an empirical and theoretical setting. Specifically, I have been working on changes in credit rating standards over the business cycle and their implications, and how firms optimally choose their liability structure in the presence of "run risk". Prior to joining the doctoral program at Columbia Business School, I was an exotic option trader at Deutsche Bank in New York.
