We live at Porto Alegre, south of Brazil, were we are a 12.000
community of jewish people. We are engaged in a group studying the
origin of idisch language, but most of the group do not understand

Subject: Kielbasa == kol bosser?

In response to Arre Komar, I have always assumed (but have no
substantiation for the assumption) that the word "Kielbasa" has
something to do with the city and region of erstwhile Prussia and
sometime Poland named Kiel.
