The average American household wastes nearly $500 per year in energy. Enerjelly brings transparency and gamification to energy consumption, reducing energy costs and increasing community trust. Using Enerjelly, Americans can save an additional 1% of annual incomes.

The four of us joined together for the IDEO CoLab hackathon to "design a new user experince for a product that enhances trust in the energy system using AR/VR."

Cheaper: With Enerjelly, you can monitor the energy consumption of your household appliances in real time, enabling you to spend more money on what matters to you.
Greener: With Enerjelly, you can compare products based on their true energy impact: the energy needed to create the item and the energy needed to use the item. By making this apples to apples (hopefully, green apples, of course) you can make a more informed, transparent, and trusted decision.

Martha a recent widow--is the owner of a confectionary shop in Boston. She has to raise her two kids Lois and Clark. Although a small business owner without Jonathan's combined income, Martha has had to be more conscientous of her spending.
