Remove Win2K from Win98+Win2K: start from floppy or cdrom with win98, fdisk/mbr c:; or: under win98/dos-prompt, fdisk/mbr (?)

Recover Win2K from Win98+Win2K after Win2K lost: Win98 (C:) + Win2K (D:), lost Win2K after run fdisk/mbr under win98 or win98/dos-prompt. To recover Win2K and it's boot option menu, run Win2K installation from Win98, choose repair, and then insert Win2K Emergency floppy disk. If no emergency floppy disk, try this: Boot to DOS, Run smartdrv, cd WIN2000_INSTALL\i386, Run winnt. 2sec after the file copying Started. Reset the machine. Use Arrow keys to boot to your original win2k. Delete temporary dir, edit boot settings. (Remove that "Win2K Installation")

Problem install win98 after using PQMagic: usually reports vmm32.vxd missing. if copy this file, then install can continue with some errors, but win98 will be incomplete. Solutions: (1) format /u (2) install Win2K
