Welcome

I am a senior at Columbia College majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics. My research interests are in the area of unsupervised machine learning, which deals with finding hidden (or latent) structure in unstructured data.

Currently, I am working with Professor Frank Wood on developing novel nonparametric Bayesian models. I also work with Professor Liam Paninski on solving problems in computational neuroscience using statistical techniques. Previously, I was a technical co-op at the MITRE Corp. doing natural language processing research and before that I spent a summer at the MIT Media Lab in the Cognitive Machines Group assisting in research with the robot Trisk.
