I have found that the following websites provide useful sub-national results of elections in Sub-Saharan Africa.  Please contact me with suggestions for additional web-based sources of information.

 

MULTI-COUNTRY SOURCES

 

Election Archive:  Results stretching back several election cycles, for nearly every country in the world.  Sub-national results are available for a number of African countries.  Compiled by Dr. Adam Carr.

African Elections Database:  Frequently updated results, with information usually stretching back decades.  Maintains a useful electoral calendar, to track upcoming and recent elections in Sub-Saharan Africa.  Results generally avaiable at the national level only.  Links available to useful websites on political parties and election authorities.

Constituency-Level Elections Dataset:  Data currently available from Botswana, Mauritius, Niger, and South Africa,.  Compiled by Dr. Dawn Brancati.
