Welcome to the Cell and Molecular Dynamics Laboratory at Columbia University. Our research focuses on functional dynamics of molecules in cells. We extend our expertise in molecular modeling and advanced microscopy to address dynamic problems in biology. Specifically, the research areas are categorized into the following three directions: (1) dynamics of signaling activities in primary cilia of mammalian cells; (2) structure-function relationship of ATP-dependent proteins; and (3) mechanobiology of induced pluripotent stem cells.
