If you want to know what to be an scientist means, this is a very good novel. A good description of the daily life of a scientific lab. through contemporary fiction.

Marjane Satrapi’s autobiography in an comic-like form. The Islamic Revolution, the Iran-Irak war, and quotidian life in Iran as seen by a young girl. Extremely entertaining and of great cultural value.
