Home Curriculum Vitae Research VB & VBA Travel Pictures

Welcome to my site! I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political Science at Columbia University. I study American politics; my research interests include legislative and judicial institutions, public opinion and elections. My dissertation examines how redistricting and the efficient allocation of industrial resources across congressional districts can be, and are, employed to increase electoral and legislative success. David Epstein is my advisor.

This site includes a page with several pieces of Visual Basic (VB) and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) code, which I have written to automate data gathering from on-line sources. Visitors may feel free to incorporate the code (for non-commercial purposes) into their own functions to be carried out in free-standing apps or in Excel. There are also links to my CV, a page about my research and another about my recent travels.
