Bio:

I am a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Columbia University, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

My research areas have centered around health information exchange, workflow analysis and integration of IT systems, Biosurveillance, and user satisfaction. My main project is currently the New York Clinical Information Exchange (NYCLIX) - a regional health information organization (RHIO) in the New York metropolitan area implementing a clinical data exchange in ten area emergency departments.
