The Consortium Fellowship Program provides financial support to doctoral students with research interests related to the study of how medical progress and innovation shape and are shaped by legal, regulatory, and medical care systems. The Fellows Program is open to all Columbia and Stanford University students pursuing a doctoral-level degree in any graduate or professional school with an interest in questions bearing on medical innovation. Fellows will be expected to organize and attend a monthly seminar, which should cover a wide array of topics within the medical technology field. The seminar will provide a forum for interested faculty and graduate students to elicit feedback on current research and to disseminate new ideas. Fellowships will last one year and provide Fellows with $10,000 of support.
