On the left is Columbia University, MedRen X227, another loose folio used
as binding, but undoubtedly from the same manuscript as MedRen X227.S.
The text is the Epistle to Philemon. On the right is another folio from
the Harley homilary (f. 95). The elements that especially bear comparing
are the geometric triangles in the descenders of both Ps and the upright
of the Harley N; the shape of the interlace knot in the upper corners of
each letter; and the petal-shaped decoration in the bow of the MedRen N
and in both Ps (unfortunately not clear in the Harley P slide).
