Macabre Greenwich Village

The fountain in Washington Square Park

We walked in a small circle just north of Washington Square Park. We did see the original hanging tree in the Park and an interesting vest-sized early 18th century Jewish cemetery (just across from the New School's 11th street entrance). Aside from this it was a non-tour, with little information. It certainly was not macabre.
