At Columbia, 3000-level courses are typically taken by B.S. sophomores and juniors, 4000-level courses are
open to seniors, M.S., and Ph.D. students, and the 6000-level courses are graduate courses. For more details,
visit the EE web pages describing the B.S.,
M.S.,
and Ph.D. academic programs.

NOTE: The numbering of several courses is new. The correspondence to old course numbers
is as follows: 4312 (4305), 4314 (4306), 6211 (6215), 6312 (6303), 6314 (6306), 6316 (4304), 6321 (6930).
Courses taken while the old number was in effect cannot be taken again with the new number.
