Some shots of my latest project (2011) - Chet Lanzo's classic 1940 Wakefield. This one is a rubber-powered radio-controlled (rudder-only)
version (I'm hoping I can keep it in the field that way) - you can see the antenna for the receiver behind the wing, the equipment is
underneath the wing. If you compare this shot to my "Flying Aces Moth" picture (2003), you'll see that my Manhattan "flying field"
is now astroturf, whereas it was grass before. Unfortunately, hitting the astroturf is like hitting cement, its a bit rough on the plane!
