This manuscript was written using Pelikan 4001 black ink and an Osmiroid calligraphy pen. I used water soluble Zebra MilliPens to draw the designs. Although not readily apparent, the dark brown regions on the manuscript are gold ink.

The manuscript text was taken from a Jewish liturgical poem recited on Shabbat (Sabbath). The poem was authored by the 10th Century Hebrew grammarian Dunash ibn Labrat.
