Teaching Assistants, Office Hours, Question-and-Answer Sessions
The Science of Psychology, Psych W1001y, Spring 1999
Professor: Norma Graham. Teaching Assistants: Lisa Son, Danielle May, Amy Jewel
If you have questions about the course, please come see us. For example, if you have trouble understanding a graph during lecture, or something on the handout, or want to discuss something with us, see us right a fter class, or come to a question-and-answer session or an office hour (listed below) or make an appointment (by phoning or leaving a note or emailing). The question-and-answer sessions also provide some opportunity for discussion with other students.
If you have questions about psychology or other questions about your academic career and your future, please feel free to come see me (or a teaching assistant).
I would also very much like to meet with each of you sometime during the semester just to find out a little about you. Knowing you makes teaching a great deal more fun and interesting for me. So, if you are willing, would you please drop by in office hours sometime just to say hello. Or, if my office hours aren't convenient, lets make an appointment or exchange email. (If you are not willing, that's okay too. I might not have been when I was in college.)
Our mailboxes are in the hallway that goes into rooms 400-404 and 500 of Schermerhorn. (This hallway is behind the double doors that are to the right of Room 406, the Psychology Department office.) I generally check phonemail and email regularly even when out of the office. Probably the best way to reach any of us (other than office hours) is email.
