Announcements Are you mapping census units to assembly constituencies for an Indian state? I am planning to map Karnataka this year. Since it is so time consuming to map multiple states, if you are interested in sharing data in order to conduct a multi-state analysis, please contact the administrator. The idea would be that if one person maps Karnataka and another maps Maharashtra that we could pool our data and conduct an analysis on both states (while citing any contributors). A South Asia Political Science Reading Group has been started this year at Columbia University. I will post a syllabus of readings on the Resources page soon in case others would like to start a similar reading group.
